Who’s running this show? The team behind the Atlantic Dash…

The Atlantic Dash was founded by two completely unremarkable people who have somehow managed to do some quite remarkable things!

Back in 2016 the stars aligned when Donald Trump introduced Billy to Alex (true story), 4 years later they ended up rowing across the Atlantic Ocean together. Now, with 6 ocean crossings between them, they are using their experience and knowledge of ocean rowing to help other people realise that they too can do remarkable things…

— Billy Taylor
Co-Founder & Director

Having crossed the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic Oceans in a rowing boat, Billy has said he is hanging up is oars (yeah, right) and passing on the ocean rowing baton of knowledge to other people. He is absolutely not going to row across the Indian Ocean again… or is he?

— Alex Mason
Co-Founder & Director

Alex had an amazing experience crossing the Atlantic Ocean in 2020 and is now passionate about helping others have the same experience. She keeps talking about a circumnavigation of the world by pedal power, including the watery bits – if she has put it out there then that’s the first step to making it happen, right? Watch this space…
